Blomqvist, Bremer to leave Wolfsburg

VfL Wolfsburg Sporting Director Ralf Kellermann has confirmed the departure of Swedish midfilder Rebecka Blomqvist and German forward Pauline Bremer.

The contracts of the two stars are expirinng in the summer, with Blomqvist turning down a new contract and Bremer not having been offered one.

“We are currently not assuming that we will lose a regular player,” added Kellermann on squad planning.

Blomqvist has made just two starts in her 10 Frauen-Bundesliga appearances for the German champions this term, scoring two goals and making two assists whilst Bremer has not started a single match but made four league appearances, scoring one goal.
