Ashley Lawrence will leave Paris SG at the end of the season, per @le_Parisien.

The Olympics gold medalist will bring the curtain to a 6-year-stay in the French capital.

The 27-year-old full-back has decided not to put pen to paper on a new deal despite concerted efforts by the French club to tie her down.

She informed the club’s management of her decision, a development that left the dressing room in shock considering her strong and experienced personality is heavily appreciated at the club.

After arriving in Paris in January 2017, Lawrence has featured in 165 games across all competitions, scoring (11 goals).

A naturally gifted, attacking right back gifted with excellent skills, the Canadian player will not be short of suitors with top clubs in Chelsea, Bayern and a dozen others waiting to pounce.

With Lawrence set to leave, it is back to the drawing board for coach Gérard Prêcheur as he tries to find a replacement.
