A report has claimed Manchester United dragged heals on Adriana Leon deadline deal to AC Milan.
Leon was on the brink of a loan deal to AC Milan only for it to collapse as the Reds sought to find a replacement.
According to Manchester World, Milan wanted the winger on loan with an option to buy for £120,000 (around €135k).
United finally accepted the deal, but rather late. The deal failed to materialize due FIGC’s guidelines which state that transfer deals need to be concluded 48 hours before the window shuts in Italy.
Leon would have added quality to the Rossonere attack as well as enhance her chances of making the roster to the Women’s World Cup in July.
