FIFA to roll out FIFA Fan Festival™ in all nine host cities

FIFA has announced the rolling out of FIFA Fan Festival during the FIFA Women’s World Cup to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.

This the first the arrangement has been made for the FIFA Women’s World Cup. FIFA Fan Festival will be held in all of the host cities at various times during the tournament. in an endevour to provide the best possible experience for visitors, the events at each venue will be tailored to the local climate, matchdays and kick-off times.

Aotearoa New Zealand venues

  • Auckland/Tāmaki Makaurau – The Cloud
  • Hamilton/Kirikiriroa – Claudelands Event Centre
  • Wellington/Te Whanganui-a-Tara – Shed 6
  • Dunedin/Ōtepoti – Dunedin Town Hall & Glenroy Auditorium

Australian venues

  • Adelaide/Tarntanya – Festival Plaza o Brisbane/Meaanjin – South Bank Parklands
  • Melbourne/Naarm – Federation Square
  • Perth/Boorloo – Forrest Place
  • Sydney/Gadigal – Tumbalong Park

The fun-filled event started at the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany™ but is debuting in the women’s game this year as the world soccer governing body aims to keep with the tournament’s theme of firsts.
